5 Year and 10 Year Employment History Verification
An Employment Verification report contains the company/employer name, dates of employment, and last position held, along with the name and title of the employer representative who provided the information, for all employers provided during the 5 or 10 year period.
Air Carrier Employment History Verification
In addition to the scope of our standard Employment History Verification, the Air Carrier Employment History Verification includes the airline/employer name, dates of employment, last position held, training information, competency, disciplinary actions, termination/reason for separation and eligibility for rehire.
DOT Employment History Verification
Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation 49 CFR Part 40.25 mandates the verification of an applicant’s employment history for the past two years. In addition to the company/employer name, dates of employment, last position held, and the name and title of the employer representative who provided the information, the verification includes drug and alcohol testing history from the employer.
Education Verification
An Education Verification report includes dates of attendance, degree, major or program and graduation date, if applicable. Universal Background Screening contacts the school, college, university or other educational institution or agency that granted the degree or certificate (or the institution’s designated agent, when applicable).
Application History Review
Typically requested in conjunction with a 5 Year or 10 Year Employment History Verification, Universal will conduct a review of the verified application to determine any gaps in an applicant’s employment and education history or 12 months or longer (or other time period as defined by the client). Universal then contacts the applicant to provide details and documentation to explain any gaps.
Aviation License/Certification Verification
An Aviation License/Certification Verification includes the specific type of license or certification, name of the issuing agency, license status, date issued, expiration date and any additional information on file for license holder. Our report also includes the name and title of the agency representative who provided the information. Examples of this service include an FAA Mechanic License.
FAA Pilot Profile Records Check (PRIA)
Pursuant to FAA Regulations 14 CFR for operators under Parts 121, 125 and 135 and the Pilot Records Improvement Act of 1996 (PRIA), Universal Background Screening will obtain a copy of an individual’s record on file with the FAA on behalf of the air carrier or operator.
FAA Accident/Incident or Enforcement History (FAA AIE)
Under the authority of the Privacy Act (5 U.S.C. § 552a), Universal Background Screening will submit a request for an FAA verification letter of a certificate holder for accidents, incidents and certificate enforcement history. This type of request is generally made under 14 CFR Part 91.
FAA FAA Freedom of Information Act Request (FAA FOIA)
In addition to the type of information contained in the FAA AIE request, FOIA requests may include a wider range of information taken from the Accident/Incident/Enforcement data systems, the Service Difficulty Reporting system, or the PTRS tracking system.
